A new series of still life drawing sessions in Swindon has been announced.

They will be held fortnightly at Old Town Library and Arts Centre from Monday, 24 October, running from 12.30-2pm.

Priced at £2 each and including help with techniques such as perspective, measuring and crosshatching, the sessions are intended for people with all levels of skill, from beginners to advanced artists.

They are intended for adults, and although some materials will be available, it is suggested that participants bring an A3 or larger sketch pad and some soft pencils.

A spokesperson said: "We offer a space where creative individuals can draw still-life and learn about perspective and vanishing points or improve their observational drawing techniques.

"The Arts Centre in Old Town is a beautiful location to come and relax and a perfect warm and dry oasis of tranquility in these bleak times.
"Come along to improve your artistic skills and draw in a peaceful and friendly environment."
