The Watermill Theatre has announced some forthcoming attractions for the rest of the year.

The first is Voodoo Brass Band, which will be at the Newbury venue for one night only on Sunday 5 May.

A theatre spokesperson said: "We're having a music-filled few months here at The Watermill!

"Rehearsals for our big summer musical Barnum are fast approaching, our next show Fanny is all about the Mendelssohn family and who actually wrote Felix's greatest hits, and we're into the final few weeks of Much Ado About Nothing which is interwoven with wonderful live jazz and swing.

"Taking the reins from Much Ado About Nothing, for one night only, is an act we're incredibly excited to have visiting us. From their beginnings at the Guildhall School of Music, to becoming a UK touring phenomenon, Voodoo Brass Band blend elements of Jazz, Swing, Funk, and Soul, all inspired by the music of New Orleans.

"A nine-piece powerhouse of good music and good times, we're sure you'll love them.

"And, join us for a curry and a drink in our Riverside Restaurant before the show – only £15.95 when bought with your ticket."

Tickets are priced from £20.

Tickets are still available for the Murder at the Mason Hotel on 20 June, priced at £55 including a three course meal.

"We can't wait to share more with you soon!"

That show will run from 2 July to 8 September, with tickets priced from £25.
