The sun shone for the Little Big Festival's 4th birthday party last Sunday.

Crowds came out to spend the afternoon around the Town Gardens bandstand and to sing happy birthday. Speeches by Keith Defter, Head teacher at Commonweal School and Robert Buckland QC were well received. Robert sang and then led the children over to the pi?ata. Children then had the chance to have their faces painted or have a go on the tombola. Commonweal School and thebigsingthing entertained all afternoon.

"A very successful event, it was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves. This is a good way for folk to raise their profile in the community for free." said Josie Williams, festival coordinator.
