Three men have been arrested following reports of suspected hare coursing in the Barbury Castle area near Swindon.
Officers were called to the area at around 1pm yesterday - 2 September - after a vehicle was seen in a field with a dog pursuing hares.
A police spokesperson said: "The vehicle left the field before it was located and stopped by officers from the Swindon Neighbourhood Policing Team.
"The occupants were arrested on suspicion of trespass with intent to search for or pursue hares with dogs, and for being equipped to search for or pursue hares with dogs.
"All three men have been released on bail while further enquiries are carried out."
