Swindon Court remands driver who caused motorcyclist life-threatening injuries

A man has pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a collision on the A303 on Saturday evening - 23 May.

At around 5.50pm, the police responded after a Toyota Yaris and a BMW R1250 motorcycle, both travelling eastbound, were involved in a collision near Bulford.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Yaris, Muhammad Umair, 30, of Sandhurst, today appeared at Swindon Crown Court.

He was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on 26 June for sentencing.
