Swindon's Hindu Community will host a Festival of Colours celebration on Sunday 1 March from 11am to 4pm at GWR Park in Faringdon Road.

Pradeep Bhardwaj, Chairman of Swindon Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre, said: "We have planned a great spectacle with an outdoor stage, two professional DJs and a drummer, food and drinks stalls, a selfie frame and with hundreds of people greeting each other with colours with a spirit of bonhomie and brotherhood.

"This cheerful family event promotes and fosters equality and tolerance, brings people and communities together and strengthens the secular fabric of our society.

"Swindon Hindu Temple is proud to bring this festival of Holi to Swindon and Wiltshire for the first time in 2017 and has been celebrating it every year since."
