Swindon elects first three Reform UK borough councillors

Reform UK has made a clean sweep of the Lydiard, Freshbrook and Toothill ward in the Swindon Borough Council elections.

Matthew Goulding, Cathy Williamson and Colin Lovell gained the seats from Labour.

The full results were:

LOVELL, Colin Peter (Reform UK) - 1,290
MCCORMICK, Fraser (Liberal Democrats) - 241
MILNER-BARRY, Jane (Labour and Co-operative Party) - 976
PETTEFAR, Rob (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition) - 24
SAWYER, Sarah (Green Party) - 471
SYDNEY-SMITH, Caryl (Conservative Party Candidate) - 941
WILLIAMSON, Cathy (Reform UK) - 1,259

Number of ballot papers rejected: 17

Labour - three seats

Conservatives - six seats

Reform UK - three seats
