New College opens its doors to prospective students on Saturday 6 October

New College Swindon is opening its doors to potential new students for its School Leavers’ Open Day.

The College will be offering potential students aged 16-18 and their parents the opportunity to take a closer look at the College and talk to lecturers and current learners about the different courses and activities on offer.

Amanda Walton, New College’s Head of Marketing and Customer Services said: “At New College we offer the full student package, with around 40 A Levels to choose from, fantastic facilities and a high standard of teaching.  New College consistently achieves good results and we’re a popular post-16 for many young people around Swindon, Wiltshire and neighbouring counties.  We’re really proud of the range of courses and activities on offer to students this year - we currently offer over 140 different academic and vocational courses, providing each student with a personalised learning plan that will best help them to achieve their goals. We also offer an excellent range of extracurricular courses and initiatives that students can take to help boost their CV, prepare them for university and work, as well as developing their skills.”

The Open Day will be held at New College, Queens Drive, Swindon, between 10am – 2pm on Saturday 6th October.
