Swindon & Wiltshire Pride have announced the return of Nationwide Building Society main sponsor for the 2023 event.
This year Pride is heading back to Queens Park on Saturday, 12 August for
what organisers are promising will be even bigger and better than last year's popular
Pride Picnic.
Pride Sponsorship Manager Lee Hare said: “We have developed an amazing relationship with

continued support.

Community Engagement Officer Phoenix Stewart said: "We are excited to be returning
to Queen's Park on the back of last year's successful event where over 3000 people
attended throughout the day.
We have lots of exciting plans ready for this summer and it is partnerships with Nationwide and our other sponsors that allow us to create these
events that are really important for the whole community.”
Swindon & Wiltshire Pride celebrates its 15th anniversary, this year, and to mark the occasion the organisation will be hosting a week of Pride
activities from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 August. The main Pride event will take place on Saturday 12 August, and more details can be found at SwindonWiltshirePride.co.uk
The day will kick off with a bright, vibrant and loud Pride march through Swindon's town centre, starting outside H&M and heading towards Regent Circus. The
march will then lead to the main event in Queens Park for noon.

Organisers promise there will be lots to enjoy such as stalls, food and drink, live music as well as some
special guests yet to be announced.
An addition to the festival has been announced with the return of the Family
Circus Zone which will be operated by local company Fandangos.
This year will also see
the addition of a chill out zone, which will be a quiet space for those that need a moment
away from the main event.
To help make the event as inclusive as possible, the main stage will include sign
language interpreters. RevoLOOtion, an accessible toilet and changing facility, will
be on site.
The official after party venue this year is Boom Battle Bar at Regents Circus. The after party kicks off at 7pm with venue decor, activities and live
entertainment.
