The deadline for Swindon secondary school applications is 11.59pm on Saturday 31 October.
Swindon Borough Council is urging parents and guardians of children due to start secondary school in 2027 to make sure to submit their application.
A council spokesperson said: "You can apply for up to three schools, with the option to put the most preferred school as your first choice.
"It’s highly recommended that you fill out all three preferences for the best outcome."
The council is also holding drop-in sessions for parents to come along and ask any questions they may have on any part of the school application proces:
- Every Tuesday during term-time at the Central Library (SN1 1QG) from 10am until 1pm
- Monday, 5 October at Park Library Community Hub (SN3 2LZ) from 10am until 4pm
- Wednesday, 4 November at North Swindon Library (SN25 4AN) from 11am, until 2pm
- Monday, 14 December at The Meadows, Best Start Family Hub (SN2 5DE) from noon until 4.30pm
