Tomorrow, Sounds Like Women will be hosting a special song recording for its 'Sing For Yourself' event at the Swindon Hub to mark International Women's Day 2023.

The live song recording will take place within the Hub between 1pm - 3.30pm on Wednesday 8 March.

To mark International Women's Day, the non-profit will be learning, singing, and recording with everyone in attendance, the song "I'm Well."

'I'm Well' is an original tune, which was originally performed by Marina Avetisian. It is based on a real story of a survivor of domestic violence, and co-written by Marina and Sounds Like Women founder Luiza Moir.

The song can be found on Youtube:

Vickie will be with the group, and will tell her story, and help conduct the recording of this very special edition of the song.

Tracy Graham, Chief Ambassador for SWA and domestic abuse support campaigner, will also be in attendance.

She said: "Those that would like to come and sing with us, can join at The Hub for an amazing empowering experience. No previous singing experience is needed."
