Why a Cat clinic?

We recognise that taking a cat to the vet is often a stressful experience for both cats and their owners.

Cats have unique needs so our aim has been to create a calmer and more relaxed environment for cats to receive treatment and to ensure cats are handled with appropriate gentleness and respect at all times, ensuring cat friendly principles are adhered to throughout their care.

We have specific equipment with separate reception, consulting rooms, dental prep, operating theatre and a new luxury cattery.

Our consulting rooms are now equipped with comfy sofas, portable consulting tables, and areas for cats to explore including a floor to ceiling cat tree which seems to be a particular favourite for our visitors so far.

We are proud that all of our clinics already have cat friendly practice silver accreditation from the ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) but we hope that shortly, once all submissions have been made, we will be welcoming you to our Gold accredited cat clinic.

The accreditation goes one step forward in ensuring that all aspects of the pet’s stay have been thought about, not just the front of house that clients can see. It also means our appointed cat advocates ensure gold standards are maintained

If you would like more information on visiting our cat clinic please visit our website or contact the clinic directly on 01793 526780.

“In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this”
