The next Farmers' Market will be held on Saturday 16 December from 9am to noon at the village hall.
Parking is offered by the Harrow Inn, where breakfast is served.
Produce on offer at the market includes Delicious Meats from Hinton Marsh Farm, Bourton, vegetables and other organic edibles from Helen Browning’s Bishopstone shop, and plants from Wanborough Herb Nursery.
There will be bread, honey and cakes, an assortment of crafts - and a lot of good ideas for Christmas presents.
Initiated by local residents Sue and David Birley, the market first opened its doors in Februry of 2000.
Recently the Birleys stepped down and the organisation was taken over by former village postmistress Lorna Naseem, with Sue and David still helping in various ways.
There is now also the Community Connect Café, run by local volunteers, where free coffee, tea and cakes are served, with donations welcome and a talk given by a different charity every month.
December’s charity is Christmas Care.
