Musician Zed Regal made a sentimental journey for the launch of his new single.
These days Zed Regal is based in Bristol, but for many years he presented a much loved show on Swindon 105.5.
He chose to return to his old stamping ground, where he was known as Zeeks in those days for the launch of Suh Di Ting Guh, billed as a Reggae Dancehall/Trap banger.
He said of the title: "It means 'That's how the thing goes.' You know when things happen out of your control? You walk, you slip on a banana, 'Suh Di Ting Guh'!
"This year we're going to be releasing singles and videos, and building up the profile worldwide online."
The Swindon visit was a chance to catch up with friends including Swindon 105.5 station manager Shirley Ludford.
The performer recalled: "At the beginning of the station when Shirley did the pilot, I did a pilot with them, and then I ended up having a show called The Catchy Hours here for about eight years when they got a licence. 'Catchy Hours' being that I have a record label called Catchy Creations.
"I did a show that was interviewing artists, showcasing new talent, playing fresh music and just conversating and giving the whole of Swindon a nice Zed Regal vibe - or Zeeks vibe, as people knew me!"
Shirley said: "We went on air for a four-week trial - that was in 2005 - just to show whether we could get support from everybody locally for a licence in Swindon.
"Zeeks heard us, happened to be driving along Queens Drive - we were based in the old Bulldog pub at the time - and popped in. He said he'd like to present a show, came in the following week, did three weeks of programming and did really well.
"Then, when we launched in 2008, he was one of our first presenters. He wrote songs for special occasions and was very empathetic for different situations that happened in Swindon.
"He was with us for about seven years.
"Only recently I was contacted to say that he has now been signed to an agent and has written a new album.
"Although he now lives in Bristol he decided that it was important to to recognise the town which gave him that start, which is ahy he's coming back to see us."

Skidangleboom is a word created by the artist to sum up one of his core philosophies. He said: "It means the balance in all things.
It's something that, throughout my whole life, through every type of issue there is - physical, emotional, social, all that - it's something that I have had to learn to find balance in order to keep moving forward with a positive mindset."
