Wiltshire Police appeal for witnesses to Halloween party assault at Bottelino's Restaurant

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident at Bottelino's Restaurant, Penzance Drive, Swindon in the early hours of Sunday 30 October.

During a Halloween Party, being thrown on the premises, a man was seriously assaulted. 

He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Three men have been arrested in relation to the incident; they are a 26-year-old man and two 28-year-old men - all from Swindon.

Det Insp Steve Kirby said:  "We are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, either on the premises or in the immediate vicinity, in the early hours of this morning to contact us immediately.

"There were a lot of people at this party, so I believe someone would have witnessed the assault or anything else suspicious and can help us with our enquiries; if that is you, please come forward."
