Big hearted youngsters from Oakhurst Community Primary School went the extra mile to raise cash for charity.
Cheered on by their teachers and North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson, the Year 6 children threw themselves into fundraiser with an aim of raising £500.
Since becoming an MP, Justin has become a patron of the Swindon branch of the British Heart Foundation and has been supporting a campaign to provide lifesaving defibrillator access in schools.
He has also supported BHF's parliamentary campaigns to introduce lifesaving skills into the national curriculum.
Justin said: “It was fantastic to see students so enthusiastic to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and we enjoyed cheering them on as they raced around. As a patron of the Swindon branch of the British Heart Foundation I know only too well how much their fundraising efforts are appreciated.”
