South Swindon Parish Council have announced the launch of their summer programme of live events for 2026, with an extra special performance from Swindon’s own EXTC headlining the season.
The season is set to bring a dynamic mix of comedy, theatre, live music and family-friendly performances to the iconic Town Gardens Bowl, with ticket prices frozen at 2024’s prices.
Swindon’s own EXTC will be headlining the season on 18 July, alongside fan-favourites Supersonic Queen and Rock The Tots returning for the fourth year running. There’s something for everyone to enjoy this summer at Swindon’s unique outdoor venue, set in the heart of the beautiful Town Gardens in Old Town.
Kicking off the season on 3 May, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Town Gardens Bowl, join Pinch Punch for a one-of-a-kind, totally improvised, totally hilarious murder mystery, Locomotive for Murder.
If you’re looking for ways to entertain the kids this summer, there’s plenty of events just for them. Experience classical music in a baby-friendly show with Music for Miniatures on 7 June, treat your little dancers to their first ballet at Alice in Wonderland on 2 August, or bring the whole family together for the superstars of wrestling as they head to Swindon with KAPOW Wrestling on 1 August.
