Unveiling 1st Nov.
All West Swindon residents are invited to
the unveiling of Hideo Furuta's Sculpture at Brand New School
Freshbrook Village Centre at 12 noon on
to Get Mobiles
Saturday 1st November.
Just six weeks after West Swindon's second-
ary school opened to its first students, the
decision has been taken to put down mobile
classrooms to cater for children in 1990.
Wiltshire County Council has agreed to delay
Phase III at Greendown School by one year
and to provide the necessary places in mo-
bile buildings.
Building work would not have been due to
start until at least 1989. Taking a pessi-
mistic view, there is still lots of time to
delay Phase III even further.
