Family cycle training and events
Swindon Bicycle Users Group has a limited number of free cycle training
places for families with children aged 8 or over.
The five hour course teaches families how to cycle safely as a group
and provides some basic safety training and advice on bike maintenance.

Swindon BUG organises and leads free monthly social bike rides
aimed at families and beginners, or returners to cycling, to introduce people
to the range of cycle routes around the town. The next ride is planned for
20 June, and all activities are listed at www.cycleswindon.org.uk
Book now for the summer holidays: Swindon BUG is holding cycling
activities for children aged 11 or over during the summer break. The
Summer Cycling Clubs last for a week, daily between 9am and 3pm, and
include National Standard Cycle Training, guided rides, map reading and
orienteering, and simple bike maintenance.
