BNP Paribas has announced a major leadership transition at Arval, one of Europe's leading vehicle leasing and mobility providers, which has a significant UK presence in Swindon and supports thousands of businesses with their fleet and mobility needs across the South West and beyond.
Annie Pin, a senior executive with more than 20 years' experience in mobility and financial services, will join Arval later this month as Senior Advisor to the CEO before becoming Chief Executive Officer on 1 April 2027. She succeeds Alain van Groenendael, who will become Chairman of Arval's Board on the same date.
The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the mobility sector, as organisations across the UK continue to navigate fleet electrification, sustainability targets and evolving employee mobility needs.
For the South West, where many businesses are actively exploring the transition to electric vehicles and greener transport solutions, the leadership change marks an important moment for one of the sector's most influential providers.
Pin joins from Ayvens, where she served as Group Chief Commercial Officer and helped lead the transformation and integration of ALD Automotive and LeasePlan. She is also a co-founder of Inspiring Women in Fleet, an initiative promoting greater gender balance across the fleet sector.
