Training Programme of the Year Accolade for Swindon firm

The accolade recognised the firm's Green Belt Lean Six Sigma training programme, and specifically its commitment to equipping its people with the skills and tools they need to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Over the past 12 months, three full cohorts of UKSBS employees have completed the Green Belt Lean Six Sigma training. 
Accreditation at UKSBS is not awarded for completing the course alone, but through the successful delivery of a continuous improvement project with measurable impact.

The firm's projects in this realm are already delivering practical improvements across UKSBS. They include strengthening how customer feedback is gathered and used to improve services, and making user guidance and knowledge articles clearer, easier to find and more useful. 
This matters because continuous improvement helps simplify services for customers, reduce avoidable effort for colleagues and make it easier for people to complete tasks successfully through self-service.
UKSBS delivers HR, payroll, finance, procurement and IT services to its partner organisations. The win formed part of a strong showing for UKSBS at this year’s awards, where the organisation was shortlisted in five categories in total, including Operations Team of the Year and Operational Excellence in Public Sector.
