All are welcome at an evening of music, laughter and fundraising at a special Rock and Roll Bingo Night for a vital local cause.
The funds raised will go to the Brighter Futures Meadows Appeal, aimed at enhancing cancer care facilities at Great Western Hospital.
Hosted by staff from The Meadows Unit at Great Western Hospital, the event will take place on Saturday 29 August 2026 at The Sun Inn, Coate Water, with doors opening at 6pm ahead of a 7:30pm start.
A charity spokesperson said: "We're looking forward to welcoming the community for a fantastic night of music, bingo and fundraising.
"Every ticket purchased and every donation made will help us move closer to creating a dedicated wellbeing space for patients receiving cancer treatment in The Meadows Unit.
"We hope people will come along, have fun and support a truly worthwhile cause."
The evening will be led by popular host Bingo Ben, combining classic bingo with much-loved rock and roll hits for a fun-filled night of entertainment.
The goal of Brighter Futures' Meadows Appeal is to create a welcoming, non-clinical therapeutic space within The Meadows Unit.
The dedicated wellbeing environment will help improve patient experience, support emotional wellbeing, and increase opportunities for personalised care and education for people undergoing Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment.
Tickets can be secured online with a £5 advance payment, with a further £15 cash payment required on the door.
Attendees can also choose to make an additional donation to support the appeal. Alternatively, cash payment of £20 is an option on the door on the night. The event is open to anyone aged 16 and over.
The organisers are encouraging friends, families, colleagues and local businesses to get involved and help make the evening a success."
