The traditional Arkell’s Brewery Christmas Market may have been cancelled this year due to COVID -19, but the brewery is keen to keep the festive spirit going and is holding a Drive Thru for customers collection of Christmas Beer.

“It is so sad not to be able to hold our Christmas Market this year” said Alex Arkell. “We really look forward to welcoming the community onto our site and love the festive feel it brings.  We will miss seeing all the smiling faces of stallholders and the community, but we are sure everyone will understand that it would not have been possible to provide a socially distanced market on our old cobbles!

“We will however be running a Christmas Drive Thru where people can safely ‘show up and load up’ their cars with plenty of Christmas beer to cheer them through the festive period.”

The Christmas Drive Thru will be held on the brewery site, on Saturday 19 December 2020, 10am-3pm.  “For bottled beer simply drive up and we’ll load up your boot; or pre order before the day by email for brewery fresh 5ltr mini casks and 10ltr boxes of beer.” A one way system will be in place and signposted on the day.

There are some great price reductions on the bottled beer for the Drive Thru day only – up to 30% off on selected products; 8 x 500ml packs are £12.00 and 12 x 330ml packs are £15.00

Draught beer must be pre ordered before the day by email to [email protected]. Product choice and prices can be viewed online https://www.grapeandgrainwarehouse.co.uk/shop.htm
