Spring new arrivals at Studley Grange

Male emu Sydney, who has just completed an incredible 56-day incubation, always takes his egg-sitting role seriously. 
Due to his dedication, the Studley Grange team have been delighted to welcome seven healthy chicks into the world. 
Sydney is now keeping a careful watch on them as they begin to explore their paddock.
Patagonian maras, Dec and Louise, have also welcomed a beautiful new arrival. 
A spokesperson said: "These gentle animals have strong family bonds, and the father is playing an active role in raising the youngster. 
"More new arrivals are expected soon to the growing mara family.
"We also have inspiring rescue stories, which highlight our ongoing commitment to care and conservation of every creature here at Studley Grange.
"We have recently received two Harris Hawks named Harry and Hermione.   They have come to us through the RSPCA and their journey has not been an easy one.  
"They are settling well into their new environment. Our hope is that they will soon be seen flying — acting as aninspiring symbol of resilience and recovery.
"The Hawks are in addition to other rescue animals, such as Raccoons that have come into our care.
"These stories show Studley Grange's dedication to animal welfare as we work closely with rescue centres across the country to provide safe, permanent homes for animals that have been abused, neglected, or confiscated.
"We invite our visitors to come and witness the remarkable work taking place every day at Studley Grange and experience the moving stories of compassion and second chances.
"We also have a whole range of other furry, fluffy, scaly and feathered friends for you to meet while you are enjoying your day out at Studley Grange Garden and Leisure Park."
