Devizes Road and Wood Street will play host to an international food festival on Sunday 31 August from noon to 5pm.
As well as being able to sample international dishes from a wealth of local food and drink stalls, visitors will be treated to live music across three stages.
Among the acts lined up are The Erin Bardwell Trio, Ministry of Samba, West Country singer Corky, DJ Mariia, DJ Oni and Old Town Vibe Engineers.
Alfresco dining tables will line the street, and there will be craft beers, family entertainment, games, pop-up seating areas and other attractions.
The event is the last in a series of three organised by the Old Town Business Association which takes advantage of the temporary closure of Devizes Road for the replacement of gas pipes. The other two, earlier this month, attracted thousands of people.
An association spokesperson said: "The event encourages locals and visitors to get to know and support local businesses. Experience Swindon's amazing food, music and live painting demonstrations taking place throughout the day."
