A filmed performance by much-loved classical musician Andre Rieu is to be screened at Vue Swindon in Greenbridge.

Viva Maastricht! - captured live in the breathtaking Vrijthof Square, in the heart of his hometown - is coming to more than 600 screens across the UK for one weekend only on August 8 and 9 2026.

Viva Maastricht! is billed as a joyful tribute to the city where it all began 20 years ago, when André and his Johann Strauss Orchestra first performed in Vrijthof Square.

As the historic setting transforms into a glittering open-air ballroom, audiences are invited to experience the warmth, spirit, and charm of Maastricht and enjoy an unforgettable night of music under the stars, all from the comfort of their local cinema.

Over the past decade, André Rieu has become a true cinema sensation, delighting audiences worldwide with his annual Maastricht concerts and festive specials.

Shattering box-office records year after year, he remains one of the world’s top-selling touring artists, with albums that consistently top international charts.
