A coffee pod recycling scheme has been put in place at Swindon's Household Waste Recycling Centre.

They can be taken along with other recycling to the centre, which is at the Cheney Manor Industrial Estate.
The scheme means that instead of putting coffee pods in their black bin, they can now give them a new purpose.
A spokesperson said: "Collect your coffee pods in any container, keeping plastic and metal ones separate. Then, as usual, book your trip to the HWRC on our website, where you can empty the container into one of our Podback recycling bins.
"Recycling is just as important as that morning cup of joe - search other items using the Waste Wizard on our website to find out how to recycle them."
The borough council's recycling guide can be found here, and includes information about the various categories of items which can be recycled at the centre, including metals, clothing, plastic, glass and garden material.
