More than 300 Swindon children remain in care and a shortage of placements continues to force many siblings to live apart or outside the borough.
Swindon Borough Council recently marked National Sibling Day day by highlighting the stories of brother and sister Paul, six and Kim, two, who are currently in the local authority's care.
A spokesperson said: "The duo would like to find nice, kind and friendly guardians to stay with, where they can feel safe and wanted.
"Anyone interested in helping children like Paul and Kim stay together can find out more and get in contact with our fostering team on our website."
