Conservatives gain two Swindon Borough Council seats in Shaw and Westlea ward

The latest Swindon Borough Council election result has seen the Conservatives win three seats in the Shaw and Westlea Ward.

Two of these were gained from Labour, and among the electoral casualties was former Mayor of Swindon Fay Howard.

HOWARD, Fay (Labour and Co-operative Party) - 1,298
LLEWELLYN, Rose (Labour and Co-operative Party) - 1,207
OWEN, Josh (Labour and Co-operative Party) - 1,020
PULLEN, Glyn Arthur (Reform UK) - 1,089
SINGH, Nandini (Conservative Party Candidate) - 1,456
WILLIAMS, Keith Robert (Conservative Party Candidate) - 1,489


Number of ballot papers rejected: 14

The tally so far is -

Labour - three seats

Conservatives - six seats
