SWINDON YOUTH T1EEATRE(SYT)

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN DRAMA? Then read on,,....
THE SWINDON YOUTH THEATRE has been in existence since 1969 and membership is
open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 25. The group aim si to present one
major production each year in addition to varied programmes of shorter pieces,
festival entries, revues etc.
The group always welcomes new members; there's no audition for those who
wish to join--- any who are keen and interested will be accepted as a member.
Initially, new members are invited to come to an "o en Night" which take place
p
every Tuesday evening betweeh 7.30 and 9.30p.m. and which is a practical work-
shop session,
After joining, new members are eligible for casting in productions or
taking part in other projects. NOT ONLY budding actors are invited -- anyone
who can sew or paint is welcome to come along and help with costumes,set design
and a variety of other activities.
All meetings are held in the Drama Studio which is in a separate build-
ing behind Euclid Street School. WHY NOT DISCOVER SYT FOR YOURSELF

SWINDON TALISMAN JUNIOR A LID CLUB

This angling club caters for boys and girls over 12 who are already keen
anglers and also for those who want to start. Details are available from;

SWINDON SPITFIRES LADIES' FOOTBALL CLUB
This ladies' football club are on the lookout for new players to help
form a junior side. Enquiries are welcomed from girls over 12 and should be
addressed to Bev Maull, 1 Moore Close, Wroughton. Tel: 813640 after 6 .3Opm,
Training sessions take place at Drove School every Tuesday.
