Toothill Education Actio n Group
L
As many of you may know, this group has formed in response to the
problems we see arising from children being bussed to schools on the
other side of Swindon. As far as we can find out, there are no plans
for junior school provision in Toothill. This means we may have to
wait for anything from 3 years upwards - no dates are set.
A letter has been sent to the County Council to ask what will be
the admissions policy for the Church Aided School when it is complete,
but we are fairly sure it won't include juniors!
If you are worried about this situation, contact any of the names
below, and they will tell you how you can help. The County Education
p
Councillors are visiting Toothill in mid- January, and we ho e by then
that everyone will have bright &.gaudy stickers in their windows to let
them know how we feel. If you can help us distribute these - get in touch!
;Te are also trying to do a survey (in spite of the weather)) - so please
give us your help if we arrive on your doorstep.
