Hacklings is Palletline's Member of the Year

An unwavering commitment to quality, partnership and innovation whilst delivering consistent levels of service has earned established family firm Hacklings Storage & Distribution a coveted award.

Hacklings, based at Bourton Industrial Park in Bourton-on-the-Water and Groundwell Industrial Estate in Swindon, has been named the Member of the Year in the annual members’ and awards ceremony organised by leading palletised freight distribution network Palletline. The company fended off competition from Palletline’s 96 strong depot membership which covers the whole of the UK.

The event was hosted by broadcaster and comedian Patrick Kielty and took place at the exclusive Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales. It is the only accolade which every year is voted for by members of the Palletline network.

Founded by John Hackling, the business celebrated their 60th anniversary last year and is one of the founder members of Palletline with John’s son Ken also one of the first members of the Palletline board. Today, Ken is the Chairman of Hacklings while his son Dale is Managing Director.

Upholding Palletline’s charter principles of accountability, service quality, transparent communication and unwavering support for the network in its daily operations the business delivers trusted pallet distribution and storage solutions for customers across the UK. As well as its transport and storage services, Hacklings also operates a commercial property division as owner of Bourton Industrial Park which is currently home to some 80 commercial tenants.

The award is for each and every one of the team who has helped us gain this level of recognition within the network.”
