After last year’s successful pilot, Zurich UK is excited to open applications for its two-day virtual work experience programme, taking place on 11 and 12 February 2026. A second intake will offer another opportunity for work experience later in 2026.
This initiative is designed to inspire and support the next generation of talent in insurance and financial services. Keeping the experience virtual ensures equal access for students across the UK, removing barriers like travel expenses and the need for two weeks of formal office wear.
The scheme offers young people a unique opportunity to explore the world of insurance and discover the wide range of roles available. By hearing directly from industry professionals and those at the beginning of their careers, the 2026 cohort will gain valuable insights into the varied and interesting work within a 5,000-strong multinational business.
Participants will connect remotely with professionals from key areas such as Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Data Science, IT, and Operations. They’ll also build a network of like-minded peers, and develop essential employability skills, including CV writing and interview techniques, through practical guidance from industry experts.
