Wiltshire Police have confirmed the finding of a body in the Bradford on Avon area during the search for missing teenager Georgie.
The discovery was made yesterday afternoon - 27 October.
A spokesperson said: "While formal identification has not yet taken place, Georgie's family have been informed of this development and are being supported by specially trained officers.
"They have asked that their privacy is respected at this extremely difficult time.
"Our thoughts are with Georgie's family and friends.
"Formal identification will take place in due course."
