New College Swindon has announced the return of Appren-T-Fest.
The region’s largest apprenticeship-focused event will be held on Tuesday 11th February at the iconic STEAM Museum.
Taking place during National Apprenticeship Week, Appren-T-Fest is sponsored by WFM (Workforce Management Software) and promises to be an unmissable opportunity for schools, students, and the wider public to connect with top employers and apprenticeship providers.
Following last year’s success - with 300 school children attending during the day, 600 visitors at the twilight session, and 32 companies showcasing opportunities - organisers say this year’s Appren-T-Fest is set to be even bigger and better.
Over 35 leading employers will be in attendance, including BMW, Zurich, Historic England, Colas Rail and GWR.

The day will also feature a quiet hour from 9am -to10am for SEND students, followed by lively daytime sessions for school groups from 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm. From 4pm to 7pm, the event will open its doors to the general public for an evening packed with career inspiration and networking opportunities.
Speakers will include:·
- Junior Saunders, founder of GCSE Boost, who will deliver inspiring talks to school groups.
- Mike Holliday of Gloucestershire & Wiltshire Partnership
- Emma Newton, Talent Engagement Specialist at Dick Lovett
- Chris Duke, CAD/BIM Manager at AECOM
